The main objective of this project was to find by ourselves a personal definition about what a counsellor is. In order to do so, our teacher, Miguel Howe, give us some tools to start the project.
At first, our group was a little bit lost. We started by deciding what program should we use. We thought about a PowerPoint presentation, but, later, we found a new interesting online program called 'Prezi'. I found it particullary usefull and innovative.
When we finally decided what was the chosen program, we divided the task in two parts.
Clara and I will do the odd questions, and Blanca and Rocio the other ones.
The main reason for chosing this method was the time. We only have two days to do it, because we were one of the 'starting' groups.
So we start by looking at the information we alredy have on the Campus Virtual. It was very helpful because we have a questionnaire we have to answer, and we have some videos about Counselling.
After all the research, we started together the Prezi presentation. It was easy to use, and we had some fun when we were chosing the theme.
We decide to put the videos because we thought they were very clear about the topic we were dealing with.
The last step was to decide what parts will expose each member of the group. I was the first one, but I did not mind. After all the work we have done together, we all have the topic learned.
CONCLUSIONS: I found this project very interesting because it allow us to work without a teacher supervision all the time, so we were free to decide how we want to develop our own project.
Another positive point I found in this task, was to be able to work with my peers. We were much more active and we can share our ideas.
Maybe, the negative point was the time we had to develop the project. We haven't got enough time to make it perfect.
